NCERT Issues Unconditional Apology to Supreme Court; Withdraws Class 8 Textbook Over Controversial ‘Judiciary’ Chapter

The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) has issued an unconditional apology to the Supreme Court of India and decided to withdraw a Class 8 social science textbook following controversy over a chapter related to the judiciary.
