The IndiaSkills National Competition 2025-26, India’s premier platform for celebrating excellence in skills, successfully concluded today at the India Expo Mart in Greater Noida. Beyond these, the event highlighted emerging careers like autonomous mobile robotics, additive manufacturing, cybersecurity, Industry 4.0, and digital construction, shaping future industries. During the closing ceremony, 288 exceptional participants were honored with medals, including 63 gold, 64 silver, 68 bronze, and 93 medallions for excellence. Notably, 45 of these winners were women, underscoring the strong and growing participation of women in skill development across various fields. Geographically, Odisha led the medal tally with an impressive 57 medals, followed closely by Tamil Nadu with 46, demonstrating widespread skill excellence across different regions of India. The competition saw massive engagement, with over 3.65 lakh youth participating from 36 states and Union Territories in its various stages, reflecting a strong national aspiration to embrace skills as a pathway to success.
