What Happened?

Projeto Paradiso, spearheaded by the Olga Rabinovich Institute, operates as a vital philanthropic force dedicated to nurturing the Brazilian film sector. Its mission includes comprehensive talent development through bursary programs, insightful seminars, and invaluable mentorship. The national meeting is a biannual cornerstone of these efforts, designed to bring together beneficiaries of the initiative for networking and community building. What began as a modest gathering of approximately 30 talents in a São Paulo office in 2020 has organically evolved into this expansive event, now hosted in Recife.

The decision to choose Recife for this year’s meeting was strategic and meaningful. After feedback from participants highlighted the geographical barriers to industry events often concentrated between Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo, Projeto Paradiso committed to decentralization. The first official meeting was held in São Paulo, the second in Salvador, Bahia, and now Recife takes the stage.
